Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge 78% Complete

The construction of the Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge is nearing completion, just in time for its opening this year.

According to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar, the bridge Barangka Drive in Mandaluyong City and Estrella Street in Makati City is already 78.5 per cent complete.

He said that once the bridge is completed, it will not only ease the traffic but is able to accommodate around 50,000 vehicles a day.

This bridge along with the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge project is one of the two bridges from the People’s Republic of China.
