Miner FCF reports development projects for ‘19
Officials of FCF Minerals Corp. said they were able to carry out close to 100 percent of their development assistance for their host and neighboring communities last year.
Ian Moller, FCF Minerals General Manager for Sustainability, said they were able to achieve 96.12 percent of their completed physical accomplishment in terms of their Development of Host and Neighboring Communities.
They also recorded 74.19 percent of their financial accomplishment last year, he added.
“These were known based on the updates on our program implementation as of the fourth quarter of last year which covers our January to December 2019 accomplishments,” Moller said.
He said their accomplishments focused on the implementation of their 2018 and 2019 Annual Social Development and Management Program facilitated by their Community Relations Office to their 20 host and adjacent neighboring communities of Quezon town.
Moller added that the implementation of their development projects was done in partnership with the host communities.
“Focal persons were also tapped based on the recommendation of the local government unit to facilitate the requirements for every project and the release of its funding allocation,” he added.
The project focal persons are now undergoing capability building programs to prepare them for their role as community development organizers in their respective communities, Moller said.
