The biggest news for local miners, builders, and industry executives, of course, is President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. naming Raphael Lotilla as the new Environment Secretary vice Toni Yulo-Loyzaga, as part of a mild Cabinet revamp following the May 12 midterm elections. Lotilla, in a way, is no stranger to the resources industry, having served as Energy Secretary to Marcos over the last three years.
