Dinapigue Mining Corp. (DMC) has been recommended for continued certification under three internationally recognized management system standards following a successful surveillance audit conducted in May.
The audit, carried out by National Quality Assurance on May 26 and 27 at the company's conference room in Dinapigue, Isabela, affirmed DMC's compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management requirements.
The recommendation came after the company completed a series of rigorous internal audit activities in 2025 and 2026 under the leadership of Engr. Edwin R. Casiano, assistant vice president for Risk Management and Management Systems.
DMC maintains certification under ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Company officials said the audit results reflect DMC's continued commitment to regulatory compliance, workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
The company noted that adherence to internationally recognized standards supports its efforts to improve operational efficiency, strengthen sustainability practices, and meet evolving environmental, social and governance (ESG) expectations.
DMC said the recommendation for continued certification also reinforces confidence among investors, regulators, host communities, and other stakeholders by demonstrating its commitment to responsible mining operations.
The company added that maintaining its ISO certifications supports ongoing initiatives aimed at creating livelihood opportunities, promoting sustainable development, and contributing to economic growth in its host communities.
DMC is engaged in nickel mining operations in Dinapigue, Isabela, and continues to implement management systems designed to ensure responsible resource development while minimizing environmental impacts and safeguarding the health and safety of its workforce.
