The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) has granted an Exploration Permit (EP) to Woggle Corporation, an affiliate of FCF Minerals Corporation, for its Dupax Exploration Project in Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya.
The permit, signed on August 4, 2025 at the MGB Central Office, covers 3,102 hectares and allows Woggle to undertake exploration activities to assess the site’s mineral potential in line with the Philippine Mining Act of 1995 and its implementing rules and regulations.
The signing was led by Department of Environment and Natural Resources Assistant Secretary for Mining Concerns and concurrent MGB Officer-in-Charge Director Michael V. Cabalda, Woggle Corporation President Tommy Alfonso, and General Manager for Operations Lorne Harvey.
In a statement, Woggle said it will carry out its approved work programmes with “emphasis on environmental stewardship, robust engagement with host communities, and strict compliance with all applicable Philippine laws and regulations.”
The Dupax project is the latest addition to Woggle’s exploration portfolio and is expected to contribute to the government’s push for responsible and sustainable mineral resource development.
